Did you realise that most of the battle you are having is between your ears? We’ve been told that if we can’t improve our health and lose weight with low fat, low carb, low calorie, high exercise, then we’re a failure. It’s all our fault, we must have something wrong with us personally.
Take a step back for a minute and think about where those messages have been coming from and how accurate they’ve turned out to be.
How many real people have real success and real peace chasing after the shiny advertising industry’s promise of health? Very few. We need to stop the cycle of thinking in self-destructive terms.
I want to take a look in the mirror of truth with you. You’re a person, yes? Then, you deserve love and respect. We often forget to give ourselves the same love and respect we give other people. We cannot function at our best if we don’t understand that we are worth the effort.

When we back ourselves in this way, we create a foundation that others who come after us can stand on. Making these changes is not just to make our lives better. It also influences the lives of our children and our childrens children.
