Leslyn Keith has studied the lymphatic system extensively for most of her career. In her endeavor to help those people who suffer from a condition known as lymphedema, she stumbled into the ketogenic diet and lifestyle.
And then she attended a conference where a well-known speaker recommended a low-fat, high-carb diet to help treat obesity. And that drove her to get her Doctorate, so that she could have the confidence to stand up to the dogma of the nutritional orthodoxy.
And she has never looked back. She is now fully immersed in her efforts to help women who suffer from a lipedema, a condition that is only just now being recognized. Dr. Keith’s studies have proven pretty well that keto is an incredible resource for reversing much of the problems of lipedema.
But, even if you aren’t suffering from lipedema, there’s a lot to hear in this episode about how your body’s lymphatic system interacts with fat. Plus, Katrina Harris joined me, as a special cohost.
To find out more about the work she’s doing you can check out The Lipedema Project. You can also check out her radio show website.
There is a new Facebook group for people to connect here, too.
