Frankziska Spritzler is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator who uses the low-carb lifestyle as a way to treat dozens of ailments. In this episode, we chat about the use of low-carb as a way to treat PCOS.
PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and it is a hormonal disorder, resulting in enlarged ovaries with cysts along the outside. PCOS can cause a cascading hormonal problem, often resulting in weight gain, infertility, and other stuff.
Losing weight with PCOS is doubly difficult, but, as Franziska explains in incredible detail, using keto/low-carb as a way to keep those hormones in balance is a very successful way to get your health back.
If you’re a dude and you think you don’t need to listen to this, think again. You have wives, sisters, aunts, cousins, and moms, and you might learn something here that can help them.
Franziska is energetic, passionate, and full of information. Oh…and she’s straight-up awesome. I really enjoyed sitting down with her and I know you’ll love to hear what she has to say.
